  1. First of all sorry for being slightly off-topic, but hey the whole 3D-MAX
  2. topic is a waste of bandwith too, even the "NO MORE" messages !!
  3. But since this is the only place where the knowledge is available i
  4. thought i would give it a try.

  6. This is the situation:

  8. I am a 3D-freak for some years now and since a few months a Lightwave 
  9. freak.
  10. I use it in my sparetime and have done some occasional logo-work etc. for
  11. our own little family-company. (It's not an animation company though)
  12. I'm still a student, I'm doing a advertising/drawing school, my major is
  13. Multi-Media.
  14. My ambition is to be a 3D-animator. And i have some questions about how 
  15. to
  16. achieve that.

  18. 1. What would be the best way to get a freelance-job? (I still want to
  19. finish my school) I'm living in the Netherlands so if there are any
  20. animators from here !? ;>)

  22. 2. It would probably wise to have demo (am working on it) but what sort 
  23. of
  24. things do the people in the business want to see? How many scenes should 
  25. i
  26. put on it? Should they be logo-anims or other? etc.

  28. 3. What would the payment be for a (still learning) freelance animator?

  30. If there are some people with some help, suggestions etc, from the
